Pulling down the bounty from the late summer/fall crop and maybe the last of the season as the cold is coming. This year was the first year I took the time to grow food in my backyard. I was ambitious in the quantity, delighted when watching the growth, and filled with joy when I was able to eat it, despite not living up to the “professional farmer” expections I had placed on myself. 2020 has been a trip for all of us, but slowing down to recognize growth in ourselves and our surroundings might be the silver lining. ❤️
