Mark Ruffalo Instagram – In honor of #InternationalWomensDay, let’s celebrate some of the 5 brilliant activists featured in @time’s Class of 2023 Women of the Year. @ayisha_sid uses the experiences of her community as fuel to fight against climate change and hold polluters accountable. After the tragic murder of her sister, @aniellefranco advocates for racial equality and an end to police brutality in Brazil. #VerónicaCruzSánchez works tirelessly in Mexico and the US for abortion rights as a defender of human rights. As war continues in Ukraine, #OlenaShevchenko is fighting for the LGBTQ+ communities, while @masih.alinejad amplifies female Iranian voices in the battle for life and liberty. Each of these exemplary women is mobilizing their communities for a more just future. Grateful to you all.

Also, congratulations to the other recipients: #CateBlanchett, @im.angelabassett, @quintab, @phoebebridgers, @ramlaali, @mrapinoe, and #MakikoOno. You are all incredible. #IWD2023
