Sara Ramirez Instagram – 2.17.23 @cmoneverybodybk 🏳️‍🌈 @mariquitas.band 🏳️‍⚧️✊🏽🎶 This is what community looks like. This is what liberation looks like. . . Videos: a rainbow of Black Brown Asian and white Queer and Trans people sharing space with each other in @cmoneverybodybk while holding space for the humanity, message, heart, talent, energy, and presence @mariquitas.band , a tgnc (trans and gender-non conforming) salsa band, brought last night. We danced the night away and freed ourselves. At some point Qween and co. inspired me to jump in and get free so I did. The last video is what happens when the set is over and you make your own music with each other. It was so joyful and generative to share space in an inclusive lgbtqia culture that is for true liberation.
