I read this quote today on @prageru and it really resonated with me. One of the reasons why I’m registered as an independent voter is because I value diversity in thought. As a culture it makes us a lot stronger to be accepting and understanding of other opinions as we all came from diverse and varying backgrounds. It’s scary how much information is lacking in schools. It’s important to always teach both sides and how people had their different perspectives. I’ve gone to public school, charter school, and been homeschooled and I have learned the most information from doing my own research.
