Bela Padilla Instagram – Yesterday, I took a flight alone to Bohol. @cebupacificair flew us in 20 minutes early and I started my adventures at 11am ❤️ I checked in at @amoritaresortbohol and the first thing they asked me is “What would you like to do?” Which I answered with another question…”do you have a scooter?” I dressed in full @hm from head to toe and toured beautiful Bohol ❤️ I’ve found a new island to love and call home and it’s the perfect place for me to celebrate #internationalwomensday ❤️ I was smiling the whole day, grateful for the warm sun on my skin, the green backdrop all around me, the white sand beaches right below the hotel and the kindness of everybody here. It is such a beautiful gift to celebrate the strength, fragility, intelligence, courage, humour and ability to love of a woman ❤️ Quick edit: to the people asking me who takes my videos if I’m alone, the answer is simple: strangers do. The beauty of travelling alone is that these strangers become your friends. On the first day, kuya Prime of @amoritaresortbohol toured me around bohol and I asked if he could take videos of me while we traveled, inside the cave, the local tour guide offered to film me on my phone, and in the afternoon on the beach, my friend @tracyayson who is in town with her friends, came over to meet me in Alona beach and I asked her to kindly film me, as I did for her too. Today, I went to chocolate hills and different places and the local tour guides and my driver for the day, kuya Jun and kuya Bert of Amorita also offered. If people can ask others to take group shots of them with their friends/family how is it impossible for a person travelling alone to ask people for photos too? Who do you think takes my photos with Norman when we’re travelling if not strangers too? Minsan, mema nalang talga. Which is sad. I reiterated that I traveled alone, to highlight the fact that women are capable of doing this. I’ve been traveling alone to meet my dad in Bangkok or wherever he is, since I was 13. This is easy for me. And I want it to be easy for you too. Pero minsan, nauunahan talaga yung iba ng negativity, nakakasad. Anyhoo, enjoy your lives, guys! I know I am ❤️
