Carlota Guerrero Instagram – Registro 6: Manglar (Memoria) 2023 Edition 17/17 3AP On view @sainteannegallery Sculpture-book that documents, on the one hand, the gathering of Samai, Camila, Nika, Monse, Valeria, Sarahí, Fernanda and GG in the mangroves, and the individual urban experience of Carmen on the other. These confronted scenarios, presented both in the installation and the book, are connected through the central image of a giant and communal clitoris, and the experience of the nine women. The very intentional covers act as a formal protection of the inner precious content of the publication to force, in a way, the creation of a more realistic and uncomfortable experience that is very far from the mere joyful contemplation of beauty.
