For those that have followed my journey know it’s been quite a journey, but I always followed my heart, and trusted in God’s plan. 🙏🏼

From graduating college years ago, to having a different career for years in acting and make-up to then working for years in immunology research, to a medical assistant in derm practice, getting two masters in the process and now doctorate. 👩🏻‍⚕️
Amongst this journey I had my share of unexpected setbacks, with the hardest was the loss of my mother/ my rock at the beginning of my third year during transferring med schools to be by her side.
Despite at times, the difficult journey, I stayed resilient and it led me to an extraordinary experience of two years of med derm research fellowship. Which reinforced my love for research and a newfound love for hemepath and dermatopathology. 👩🏻‍🔬❤️‍🔥
So I dual applied and put it in God’s hands.
And the prayers have been answered.
( I should have known my favorite toy as a kid was a microscope 🔬😆❤️)
