I’m really loving the amazing color it brings, and it’s already inspiring some ideas for future formulations too. I can’t wait to share more about my new product with you, but please bear with me – I believe that good things come to those who wait for the right time.

Buah Merah, also known as Pandanus Conoideus or Red Fruit Oil, is a type of oil that is extracted from the fruit of the Pandanus Conoideus tree. The plant is native to Papua, Indonesia, and is commonly found in the Pacific Islands, including Fiji, Vanuatu, and the Solomon Islands.

The oil from the Buah Merah is typically extracted using cold-pressing or expeller-pressing methods. Cold-pressing involves using a hydraulic press to extract the oil from the fruit without the use of heat. This method helps to retain the oil’s natural nutrients and antioxidants, making it ideal for use in skincare products.

Expeller-pressing, on the other hand, involves using a mechanical press to extract the oil from the fruit. This method applies heat and pressure to the fruit, which can alter the oil’s chemical composition and reduce its natural nutrients.

After the oil is extracted, it is then filtered and refined to remove any impurities, resulting in a pure and high-quality oil that can be used in skincare products.
