JoJo Siwa Instagram – 2. TWO. 2 Emmy nominations🥹😭!!!!! SO incredibly grateful for the entire Music team who worked on “The J Team”!!! Twizzler, Jeannie, luke, Gus, Andrew, gabe, and a few others helped me create this MAGICAL soundtrack for my movie and now it’s nominated for an children and family EMMY!! Absolutely insane. I wrote I believe 26 songs for the J Team, and had to narrow it down to the perfect 8 that made it into the film, It was not easy, and it was a LOT of hard work and so hard on my voice but it was SO worth it. aside from the music, this film was one of the most challenging projects I’ve worked on mentally. This nomination makes me feel so proud because the music in this film is the one thing that I did get to have a say in and that makes my heart so happy that it’s being recognized in this way🫶🏼 Forever grateful to my music/writing team for letting me be involved in such a huge way especially on this project and for pushing me to be my best. I can’t believe it. Here is a slide of some fun memories of the music process for the J team. The first slide is the song Change me from the film. Second is the nominee list. Third is me sound checking my favorite song “out of the park” on tour! 4th is me in the recording studio recording U-N-I for the 3rd time, fun fact we actually wrote UNI in 2019 and never released it, then we realized it was perfect for the movie!! 5th slide is one that Twizzler is gonna kill me for but I had to share… it’s the iconic demo of out of the park featuring his voice which always made me smile. 6th is filming UNI. Seven is singing back to that girl on tour. 8th is filming change me. 9 is me doing my silly western “only getting better”🤣 and last but not least is 10 and it’s the incredible cast singing CHANGE ME🫶🏼
