Matia Jackett Instagram – For just over 20 days I had the honour to work on @boyinthewoodsfilm, which shares the true story of Maxwell Smart and his courageous story of surviving WWll. My time on @boyinthewoodsfilm was one of the best experiences I have ever had on a set. I Made friends, we shared stories, we had lunch together everyday, we went on long drives, we worked long hours together. What I have taken away from this set is that working on a set far away from home taught me the importance of how valuable friendship and family is. Especially friendship. Maxwell Smart was only 12 years old when he was separated from his mother, and only a few years later he had lost his best friend. I, myself cannot even fathom what he has gone through. This story is so important and it is something that should never be forgotten.
Today at 2:30PM EST on the history channel, the documentary, Cheating Hitler: Surviving the Holocaust directed by Rebecca Snow, @snowdocs is playing. I highly recommend watching it if you can.
Also side note I guess there is some plus to looking like a 13 year old boy. 😉
