Wherever I go, I am always on the look out for interesting crockery, table pieces and the most hard to find – Mats!! I’m not fond of table covers because I enjoy the whimsy of mixing and matching mats and charger plates. For an impromptu Asian meal this is what I put together: Crockery: @weavinghomes_india – I have been picking up things from them for a long time now. Even though the plates are smaller than a dinner plate, but the two kinds of bowls made it enjoyable to eat a meal in a bowl and have condiments on the side. Mats: @hm – I just loved the casual almost farmhouse vibe of these mats, and everyone enjoyed seeing what their mat said. The round wicker mats are a sensible pick, you can use them in so many different ways, but make sure you clean them with a dry brush after each meal. Napkins: Also from @hm. I actually picked up a bunch of solid colours that can go with most of my sets. Glasses: @ikea.india They just work. They don’t break, merge with most settings and honestly I didn’t give it much thought since I had 10 mins to set the table.
