Another day another panel 👩🎓. Jokes aside I was so honored to participate in the Spark Change Summit, thrown by the incredible women of Creative Visions Foundation, in partnership with the Skoll Foundation and UCLA LAW. Sometimes I have to pinch myself, especially when Im on stage surrounded by such incredible women. Yahlin Chang, ep and writer of Handmaids tale, and Monique Matthews (birthing justice). Was incredible to see footage of Battleground inbetween two other brilliant projects. Looking forward to next year 🙂

This feature documentary is a timely and chilling window into the intersection of abortion and politics in America. Specifically how Donald trump worked with anti abortion activists to secure the 2016 election in exchange for a Supreme Court who would over turn Roe. Sadly, this is still just the beginning. This film is a huge wake up call to all Americans who care about their rights, democracy, and the responsibility of news and media outlets to cover, but not platform, people with different opinions than our own. I’m so grateful to have the privilege of working with @jeffsobrato @ryejh @jadenlevitt (and our entire team @safespace.pictures ) to help bring Cynthia Lowen’s film to the screen.
