Nikki Roumel Instagram – Behind the Episode: Episodes 6,7,8 💛 The birthday party scene felt so great to have the five of us together! Do you think Zion felt something was off? The second photo was my last scene and one of the two last scenes of season two which was really fun to have a quick little celebration before the show started post production! The third one is a photo Katie took of that day! Their was two units filming so the flashbacks and the present timeline was filming simultaneously in the same studio at different parts! We also wrapped those scenes around the same time! The mirror scene was the last scene of that day, it was late and emotional, but we were able to do in two or three takes. Each take would require are amazing makeup artist Randy to reapply the party face paint. The scene with Zion may seem familiar we shot it during season one, the difference is that it’s from Zions perspective this time! The last photo is at a costume fitting for the Christmas episode! Fun fact it was the first time I sprayed canned whipped cream in my mouth, the girls were also champs especially because I kept missing and getting it on their costumes by accident! On Canadian thanksgiving last year I posted a video at dinner of me spraying whipped cream in my mouth as a fun little teaser (plus its yummy) 🤪
