Sayani Gupta Instagram – When @nanditadasofficial asked me to be a part of this film.. one evening in Calcutta, I told her ‘anything for you!’. She took me to her room and narrated the part and I read the script right after. I knew it would be an interesting film and a very very relevant story.. and that @kapilsharma & Nandita’s Jodi would be something worth watching out for! Today while watching the film.. I was transported to the world of Manas & Pratima, for they themselves were completely immersed into their world. The film travels from real to funny to poignant to contemplative while being deeply engaging. While showing you mirrors from all sides & the macroscopic view on society.I was blown away by the intent, brilliance of storytelling and the incredible performances. @kapilsharma is flawless.. this man can metamorphose into creatures of magic while being so damn real! What an incredible honest performance! Thank you Paaji for your talent & the ease with which you do everything! #shahanagoswami is so so beautiful! She glides as Pratima & you come out mesmerised with the spark in her eyes! Ufff! Each actor in the film, makes it what it is! The kids are so so good! @nonslimybong Ranjanda shot it ever so poetically & delicately real. @ghoshrita the home felt like their home.
