Her mum and mine are sisters, her mum being the youngest of 8 and mine being number 4 in the row. It’s a sad day for our industry. Steve Dimarco was without a doubt an actors director, he had such a keen eye for character and performance and how to note each actor in a way that they specifically could hear. He cared so deeply about telling the story, about connecting to the actors and about collaborating with the crew. He was an artist at heart and was passionate every moment on set. It was a treat to work with him. He was a kind and gentle soul underneath the piercings and tattoos. He would email actors regularly to tell you what a great job you had done on set that day, he would do this at the end of a 16 hour shoot day on his own time. He would text to ask if you wanted to talk about an upcoming potentially difficult or sensitive scene. He would come to your trailer to check in to see if you were feeling okay about it before filming. You will be missed by us all Steve, there really was nobody like you in so many ways. Thank-you Steve for your guidance, kindness and friendship and for your quest for truth and vulnerability from all of us and so very much yourself. 💔

The crew on this show and every show so often has me in awe, the equipment they need to wear and operate, the speed they have to move to get the shot, often running backwards at a redic clip. They truly are incredible! ❤️
