After visiting Debu Da’s place in Kolkata, I felt that real wealth is not in earning a lavish lifestyle but in earning wisdom through knowledge and also that you can exist living a simple lifestyle. His all-in-one-room apartment is a perfect example of simple living and wise thinking. Debu Da still uses a manual age-old blender to make delicious and healthy sattu drink. While glancing through his work I felt as if I was in a time capsule and that the lustre of the outside world had not touched or contaminated Debu Da’s simplicity.
