Michael Myers is my personal horror icon. He terrified me until the age of 9 or 10, and then I became fascinated with this enigmatic character. Watching the Halloween movie marathons every October on @amc_tv Monsterfest got me through a lot of tough, lonely times while growing up. In designing this look I was inspired by the recent Halloween film trilogy and it’s attention to forensic-level details. From looking through screenshots of Michael’s costume in Halloween 2 (1981) for the precise bullet hole placement, to emulating the grey creases on the original mask, to *which* eye was bleeding from the wire hanger, I wanted everything to line up perfectly.
