Guy Montgomery Instagram – 🚨🚨🚨SPELLING BEE FINALE TONIGHT! It remains absolutely unbelievable to me that I got to make my own tv show! AND THAT WE GOT TO MAKE IT EXACTLY AS STUPID AS I’D DREAMED. A huge number of people (many of them pictured here) facilitated this and what you see on screen is a reflection of all of their talent and hard work. The vibe on the whole project was good! Which was exactly the vibe I was going for, and that comes down to the amazing team that @kevinandco_nz surrounded me with the to build the show. Also a massive shout out to @threenewzealand for believing that a TV show about spelling belongs on primetime and obviously, @nz_on_air for giving us the money to make the damn thing! All the contestants, everyone who has watched or posted about it – even the old people on Facebook who tear my ass to shreds when a clip gets posted and then get scammed by a bot in the very next comment – you have all made the show what it is and I really hope we get to make more of them down the line.
