Henry Simmons Instagram – Years ago I was on a series called NYPD Blue (yeah, I’ve been in this business for a while now) and I’ve told people about this particular scene many times. To be honest, I just recently found out the actor playing opposite me was Pedro Pascal.
The scene was so memorable, because every time he licked his hand and started chanting that gibberish we would burst into laughter. When I say laughter, I mean HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER!!! It was uncontrollable!
After trying time and time again to get through the scene, the director finally had us take a 10 minute break to regain our composure…… which did absolutely nothing for us.
I think we may have gotten two or three takes where we held in our laughter and did the scene without smirking or smiling eyes.
If you look closely you might catch one of us trying to stifle a smile.
That was a crazy day! 😆😂😆
