Joe Russo Instagram – Last week, I had the privilege of receiving an honorary degree from the University of East Anglia. My time was short when I attended as a student during a semester abroad in 1991, but the school and faculty had a life altering impact on me. Jon Hyde (on the right) gave me an assignment to write and perform a monologue that would ultimately inspire me to pursue a career in film. Jonty Rea (on the left) performed with me in a production of American Buffalo, and taught me everything I know about acting. Jonty also starred in our first film Pieces.
