Jorge Garcia Instagram – Here’s how I made the head on my Krampus costume.
I had an old Wolfman mask where the latex on the face was starting to get crunchy. So I cut it out and kept the fur cowl figuring I’d use it for something someday. Then when this Krampus project showed up I thought it was a good place to start. I watched a horn making video on YouTube from @stiltbeaststudios. Basically you form the horns out of EVA foam. Then paint them with liquid nails to give them a nice texture. Then paint them to your liking once they dry. To attach them I made a couple of cylindrical bases which I poked through holes in the fur and contact cemented the horns to those nubs. Voila. Turned out way better than I had expected on my first try. I also got some help from my wife adding fur around the face and sewing those fur legs for me. | Posted on 20/Dec/2022 09:36:19
