Josh Brolin Instagram – When I was in my twenties I ended up in the city of Prague. There I walked into one of their thousand chapels and sat for what was posted outside as a “virtuoso performance”. I wasn’t expecting much but a chance to relax my feet. In my periphery I caught the most arrogant, young blonde teenager walking out with a violin in his hand. You could see it in his eyes, in his gait, that he felt we were lucky to be witnessing him. I almost walked out, just to spite him. Then he started to play. He played in the key of angels. His notes walked on water and bled gold. His bow turned into powdery pixie dust and he slightly levitated tossing himself around as he was so possessed by the rollercoaster of the composition that I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up with bruises the next day. I was 24, and it changed my life. I’ve remembered him a thousand times since. It was his talent, but more so, his complete understanding that the music chose him to speak. That without him, all would be mute. And so he went to work with total abandon. — Angels showing up when you least expect them. ❤️❤️
