In the wilderness it would be Yeshua who would over come the temptations of the Satan.
The accuser from the garden of Eden has returned. Eve will become the first victim to His cunning ways and Adam will follow shortly after.
But what does the enemy attack?
First He challenged the very identity of Yeshua. “IF YOUR REALLY THE SON OF GOD PROVE IT WITH WORKS”
Our Identify is constantly under attack.
Yeshua proves His relationship is with God because He knows God’s word and more then knows it believes it and lives by it. Yeshua’s response highlights Man’s real need which is unseen – the God who was visible to israel in the wilderness yet become invisible when they entered the promised land.
Second the DEVIL will use scripture against those who are with GOD. Yeshua proves a point in the second temptation that many miss. Scripture CAN AND WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT. The solution is simple, don’t lean on a single verse for clarity but every word of God combined. The more you know the clearer scripture will be and the harder it will be used as a tool for distortion from the enemy. People within the church take scripture out of its context, sometimes because of sheer laziness to learn more and other times to fit their own agendas. Both cases are dangerous to a immature believer.
THIRD – who offers worldly blessings in this event? kingdoms, power and fame? It’s The devil. Which means he has access to them and freely give the. Many who grab at these things don’t realize the exchange that is taking place – to be loved by this world and it’s kingdom often places you at odds with God and His word. The kingdoms of this world which by nature are wicked is what man who love power seek..
Yeshua sends a clear message again. We serve an audience of ONE. Hashem. If I serve Adonai well others will be blessed. If I serve Adonis last I too will be lost
Yeshua fasted for 40 day & 40 nights. He played out a wilderness walk of faith in the God of Israel so that Israel might see the length, breadth and heights that God himself will Go to for His people, so that His people might see & return to him

It’s a privilege and an honor to baptize people in the Jordan River.
John son of Zechariah the priest began immersing first centuries Jews in the Jordan River, claiming He was preparing people for a coming messiah.
The people who saw John were convinced He was sent by God. The religious leaders were torn. Not because of John’s obedience but by the message His baptism delivered- repentance in preparation for God’s anointed. God’s anointed would come when religious leaders were corrupt. Jeremiah and Ezekiel both prophets of God elude to this reality.
In Luke’s gospel we see the dilemma of the religious who opposed Yeshua
On one of the days while Yeshua was teaching the people in the Temple and proclaiming the Good News, the ruling kohanim and the Torah scholars, together with the elders, confronted Him. And they spoke, saying to Him, “Tell us by what authority are You doing these things? Or who is the one who gave You this authority?
But answering, Yeshua said to them, “I also will ask you a question, and you tell Me: the immersion of John—was it from heaven or from men?” They reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Why didn’t you believe him?’ But if we say, ‘From men,’ then all the people will stone us, because they are convinced that John is a prophet.” So they answered that they didn’t know where it came from. And Yeshua said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
Luke 20:3-8 TLV
These men lost an opportunity to know the truth. Because they were blinded by their own ideas of God, their own ideas of righteousness and their own ideas of messiah.
Many still make this mistake today.
Those who know what authority Yeshua comes in the name of will seek this baptism accordingly
Amen.
My favorite verse of the Bible – You have said “Seek my face” my heart says to you “Your face, LORD, do I seek”
Psalms 27:8
This is David’s desire – to See the face of the LORD, which is to say to see him, to know him, to have a relationship with him. Jeremiah the prophet writes these words in 29:13 “you will seek me and FIND ME, when (key word) you seek me with ALL your heart.”
What does your heart pursue today?
A 2,000 year old jewish town nestled in the hills of the north western region of the sea of Galilee.
A people who were exposed to a great Light just as the prophet Isaiah proclaimed.
The people of korazim did not heed the words of Jesus or connect his mighty works to what the prophets & psalms professed.
Korazim today is nothing but the ruins of what once was. Just as God had cursed the great city of Babylon through the prophets. So too Jesus will prophesy and tell the people of korazim that they lack of belief they refusal to repent would seal their fate. This town would face the consequences of rejecting the good news. Remember the book of Jonah – Repentance was the key for Nineveh. They repented and To Jonah’s distaste the city of Nineveh despite their sin would be spared.
Today ancient korazim is a witness to us all – Jesus words ring true 2,000 years on.
We must learn from those who did not listen and make the choice to Repent & believe in the promised messiah who offered a new covenant. A covenant that would be sealed in blood and offered to all for the salvation from our greatest enemy – sin.
35,000 Jews flood the Western Wall in preparation for Yom Kippur
God gathered them from among the nations. Never again would they be divided in two kingdoms. A nation is now waiting for One king & one shepherd to arrive.
Ezekiel prophesied from Babylon.
Then say to them, thus says Adonai Elohim: ‘Behold, I will take Bnei-Yisrael from among the nations, where they have gone. I will gather them from every side & bring them into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, & one king will be king to them all. They will no longer be two nations & never again be divided into two kingdoms. They will never again be defiled with their idols, their detestable things or with any of their transgressions. I will save them out of all their dwellings in which they sinned. I will purify them. Then they will be My people & I will be their God. My servant David will be king over them. They will all have One Shepherd. They will walk in My ordinances and observe My rulings & do them. They will live in the land that I gave to My servant Jacob, where your ancestors lived. They will live there—they, their children & their children’s children, forever, & My servant David will be their prince forever. I will cut a covenant of shalom with them—it will be an everlasting covenant with them. I will give to them and multiply them. I will set up My Sanctuary among them forever. My dwelling-place will be over them. I will be their God & they will be My people. Then the nations will know that I am Adonai who sanctifies Israel, when My Sanctuary is in their midst forever.
Yeshua said;
These things I have spoken to you while dwelling with you. But the Helper, the Ruach ha-Kodesh whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything & remind you of everything that I said to you. Shalom I leave you, My shalom I give to you; but not as the world gives! Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid. You’ve heard Me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I. I have told you now before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe!
The Glory of God is declared when we look above. The character and nature of God is declared when we look to Yeshua. Those who follow Him never walk in darkness.
Just as messiah proclaimed in johns gospel
Yeshua spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. The one who follows Me will no longer walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 8:12 TLV
The very location where The Israelites crossed over the Jordan River after their wilderness wanderings is the same location where John the Baptist would see the spirit of God (the Ruach Elohim) descending like a Dove upon Jesus after His baptism in these waters.
Why is this crucially important to understand?
The Israelites followed a physical cloud of fire through the wilderness.
Numbers 9:17-19 says this;
Whenever the cloud lifted up from above the Tent, then Bnei-Yisrael would set out, and at the place where the cloud settled, there Bnei-Yisrael would encamp. At the mouth of Adonai, Bnei-Yisrael would set out, and at the mouth of Adonai they would encamp. All the days that the cloud remained over the Tabernacle, they would remain in camp. When the cloud would remain over the Tabernacle many days, Bnei-Yisrael would obey the command of Adonai and not set out.
But once the Israelites would begin there campaign to possess the land the Manifestation of God that they had all seen through out the wilderness from Egypt to the Jordan valley, would ultimately become unseen from their sight the moment they crossed over this very river.
The presence of God was still with them, but it would become far more hidden and unseen to the community of the nation of Israel.
But God would tabernacle among them once again
Just as John 1:14 proclaims when speaking about the reality of Jesus the messiah – And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. We looked upon His glory, the glory of the one and only from the Father, full of grace and truth.
The cloud would disappear here – surely the Israelite would wondered why. But God’s plan was in the making. And the the beginning of Messiah revealing himself to the nation of Israel unsurprisingly would begin on the other side of these waters.
From here, the public ministry of Jesus begins. Good news.

This morning over the Galilee. A moment with the LORD of Hosts.
I was planning to sleep in today, But the LORD woke me up and I couldn’t fall back asleep. I am grateful He did.
I pray for those coming on my tour that He will meet them where they are, bring joy and peace to their travels.
May Our LORD close the doors that need to be shut and open the door that His Elect must enter through.
To truly discover Jesus – one MUST
Read God’s word
To experience Jesus – one MUST
follow God’s path.
Neither have a short cut.
Neither have a prerequisite..
Both require a willing heart.

Traveling through the Jordan valley on my way to the Galilee I stopped to pray and take in this view.
Im wearing a custom made Tallit which is a traditional prayer shawl in Judaism made by @tallis_man truly a one of a kind gift. Made in the traditional way by hand from the heart of Israel.
