Sergio Peris-Mencheta Instagram – Querido amigo, lo has peleado durante años. Siempre con una sonrisa. Siempre con esperanza. Habiendo asumido un posible final anticipado de tus “días sobre la tierra” con una serenidad apabullante, imposible. 🍀 Durante mis 7 años de exilio hemos mantenido un contacto casi permanente a través del WhatsApp. Nos lo hemos contado todo. Incluso más que cuando nos teníamos delante (quizá porque cuando así era, aprovechábamos para recuperar lo no jugado). Te he conocido y me has conocido. Hemos celebrado las buenas noticias, y te he llorado las malas… ¡y eras tú el que me consolaba! “Tranquilo, Sergio, que no te vas a quedar sin amigo, que lo voy a pelear, que esta pelea la gano”. 🍀 Nos hemos visto las grietas durante estos más de 20 años de viaje en común. Lo que nunca hemos hecho, cosa curiosa, ha sido enfadarnos. Nos ha faltado eso. Y supongo que no soy el único al que le ha sucedido algo así contigo. 🍀 El lunes tuve la oportunidad de despedirme de ti. De darnos chopocientos abrazos, de cerrar nuestra historia en el plano físico. De reírnos de tu enfermedad, de recordar alguna anécdota, de planificar tu ausencia. Saber que es la última vez que vas a ver a alguien, poder decir adiós, hacer balance del amor, es una bendición. Lo último que me comunicaste antes de cerrar la puerta de la habitación (“mímicamente” pues la enfermedad te había robado ya las palabras) es que me anduviera con ojo que me ibas a estar vigilando. Y pensé: “un angelito de la guarda más en el equipazo que se debe estar fraguando allí arriba con tanta pérdida aquí abajo”. 🍀 Como te dije el lunes, “aunque te vayas, amigo, aquí te quedas.” Te pensaré a menudo, Nano, tratando de no echarte de menos.
