Spencer Paysinger Instagram – LEAVES OF GLASS: A young Hispanic man’s life in Watts quickly begins to fall apart as he becomes paranoid he’s been cursed by a local witch.

With all the positive energy surrounding our recent short film @panoramathefilm, the team at @thesunflowerpictures has been itching to get back into production on our next story Leave of Glass, a modern day witch tale set in Watts, CA.

We had immense success finding community with @kickstarter that we wanted to run it back and give you all an opportunity to be part of the project. Our goal is to turn this short film into our first feature film of the same name. Hit the Link in Bio to see more about Leave of Glass. Hope you enjoy!
Spencer Paysinger Instagram – STORY TIME – Last week I had the opportunity to speak at Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas. A lot of my speaking engagements stem from the success of All American so being able to visit different pockets of this country to discuss topics we explore within All American is always a blessing. Outside of the usual talking points, I try to leave each audience with a unique something that I hope they will activate in their own lives.

Since the beginning of All American, our goal has been to create conversations around topics within the black community, and youth experience overall, that are often overshadowed by the more hyperbolic parts of our culture. But as we’ve all felt over the years, less people are communicating across lines. Instead, we’re choosing to create narratives about the other side when we should be seeking truth in community. So in ending my GCCC keynote, I asked two strangers to join me on the floor. Enter @chapa336 & @h2._.d2

After confirming Sara & Hannah did not know each other. I asked them to follow one another on IG. I then took out $20 with the request that at some point in the next week they must use this money to grab a coffee/drink together and talk. Upbringing, interests, motivations, fears, aspirations…anything to start a conversation.

This photo represents the true end to my keynote in GCCC, the start of a conversation between strangers, and a potential friendship.

But if they didn’t follow through, I would have sent an invoice to get my money back! 🤣
