For me this year it’s been traveling to countries and places few ever dare to travel to and find a genuine and respectful way to tell their stories.
My last African country of our African Saga on YouTube was to the horn of Africa.. To Somaliland 🐪🌵 ☀️ A country currently inside Somalia that doesn’t exist (full story in our most recent video on YouTube).
I spent 4 days traveling there with the incredible @samiya_hashi showing us around. She’s born and raised in Canada and decided to move back to her family’s native land with her mother and grandmother.
The immense kindness we experienced and lessons from all of the places we saw will stat with me forever.
