T-shirts just arrived for the upcoming Stick Men tour. Hope to see some of you at the shows.
Bass Magazine always keeps me on my toes, this time with a 10 question drill. Not sure how I did on the answers, but I love that the two pics show the same MM bass, before and after strip-job! https://bassmagazine.com/artists/10-questions-with-tony-levin
Chiming in a day late with happy birthday wishes to Peter Gabriel
Rockin the U.S. and Canada! In case you missed it, Peter Gabriel has just announced more tour dates. I’m thrilled we’re coming your way. Check Peter’s site for dates and on sale information. https://petergabriel.com/live/ #petergabriel
At one of our L.A. StickMen shows this young lady showed me what her Haloween costume had been. A bald bass player… hmm!

Nice to see the interest in that portrait of Peter Gabriel. In May, I’ll be releasing an edition of 5 prints of favorite photos I’ve taken of him through the years, and that’s one of them. Here’s an advance page about it: https://timeless-prints.com/single-photogravure-prints-by-tony-levin/
Good old Spencer and me, grabbing some quality time before I head out on the road.
Came across this pic of some of my King Crimson music at a rehearsal a few years ago. Wow – not simple!
Somebody’s hungry for some King Crimson! @thug.loaf
Earlier this year a collection of my King Crimson photos were released as fine art prints by Intaglio Editions. They are currently offering 25% off all of my prints with the coupon code: COLLECTOR2022 through December 15th. https://timeless-prints.com/single-photogravure-prints-by-tony-levin/
StickMen playing tonight at the Haggin Museum, in Stockton, CA, where a big exhibition of my photos just opened today.
As of today, the 5 print collection of my vintage Peter Gabriel photos is available for pre-orders. TonyLevinPrints.com
It’s signing time for me. My new photo prints will go out in May, but I’m heading on the road soon, so need to get them signed now. Gotta love those Sakura pigma micron 05 pens.
LOTS of exciting news from Stick Men today. We’ve finished rehearsals and are headed to our Vancouver show, the first of the 2023 Tentacles Tour. First, there’s today’s release of a new CD, “Umeda”, live from Osaka, mixed by our front of house engineer, Robert Frazza. Here’s the link to that – More soon. https://stickmenband.com/music/umeda-live-in-osaka-2022/
Back from a fascinating Stick Men tour in S. America. Next for us will be in February, on the West Coast. For folks in NYC, next week there are screenings of the King Crimson documentary film and on Dec 6th, I’ll be there to do a q&a afterward with the director, Toby Amis. https://metrograph.com/film/?vista_film_id=9999003042
Had some great horn players in the studio yesterday to play on a track of mine. Not holding my breath for that album release, it’ll be awhile – I’m heading out on the road!
The StickMen tour is going very nicely. Here are a couple audience pix, from Mill Velley and San Jose, CA.

Last night, in back of Costa Mesa club, a confluence of moon, planets and street light. Oh, that shipping container… that’s the dressing room!
Some wild driving trips this week, in the SouthWest with StickMen. One day we hit both a blizzard in Gallup, NM and a sandstorm in Albuquerque. (Shows, though, have been great.)
This is a special remix of “Prog Noir” by Stick Men. Various extracts of my bass lines and licks are featured in the beginning and the end of the remix, also a dedicated collage created as a “Prog Noir” interlude/short story. Download for free at: https://bit.ly/3B6djaE
Check out this new video of StickMen’s “Prog Noir”. It’s, appropriately, dark! Click YouTube link in bio or visit: https://youtu.be/eqwH3Aeg9Tw
In Stockton, CA the Haggin Museum will have an exhibition of my photographs, starting Feb 16th, the very date that StickMen will play a show at the museum. Their lovely new bulletin has my photo from a 2006 Peter Gabriel show in Vielle. Hope some of you can make it to the museum for the show or exhibit (or both!)
