Among all these legendary humans, one who truly stands out is our dear friend, THE ONE AND ONLY @quincyjones. 🎶 Quincy turned 90 last month while I was out of the country, so Sage and Mary and I made it a priority to connect with him when we were back in LA — we had to celebrate this remarkable man’s life! Having Quincy as a friend is an indescribable blessing. He’s a PROLIFIC orchestrator who has worked with everyone from Ray Charles, Duke Ellington and Count Basie, to Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, Michael Jackson, Tupac, The Weeknd, John Legend and countless others. His astounding accomplishments in the music industry include multiple Grammys and even the esteemed Grammy Legend Award.✨ It’s genuinely inspiring to witness his phenomenal journey and historical impact. Quincy’s MUSICAL GENIUS, his ability to connect with others AND bring out the best in them has left a LASTING impact on countless generations. One example SHINES through in his iconic work, “We Are the World,” released in 1985 that raised more than $60 MILLION in humanitarian aid for people suffering from famine in Africa, most notably Ethiopia.
