I remember being a headless chicken and running from one doctor to the other hoping someone will tell me that either I don’t have type 1 diabetes or it can be reversed but unfortunately I didn’t find anyone who could tell me that. Management of the disorder is the best I could get from each one of them. I thought insulin will make me put on weight on my tummy(which it did) and how it is WRONG to rely on insulin injections. It took me a year to figure it all out. You will too take your time to understand what has just hit you but if you are a type 1 dont make the mistakes I made. . .
