Arwa Gouda Instagram – We’re delighted to share the highlight moments from our celebration of the third potato harvest season’s success as part of ‘She Feeds the World’ program in partnership with Care Egypt. We convened in Beni Suef Governorate, with the attendance and participation of Mohamed Shelbaya, Chairman and CEO of Pepsico Egypt and North Africa, Eugene Willemsen, CEO of Pepsico Africa, Middle East, South Asia, and Dr. Hazem Fahmy, Country Director at CARE Egypt, as well as our special guest, beautiful actress Arwa Gouda. Most notably, the event honoured the programme’s participants, and we were joined by Egyptian farmers, the heroes of ‘She Feeds the World’ who’ve put in the real effort. Our primary goal was, and still remains, the empowerment of farmers and women in the Egyptian society, and we’re proud of the programme’s success in impacting over 250,000 people. It helped them achieve economic empowerment and independence for themselves and their families, becoming, through this journey, more aware of the importance of sustainable farming. سعداء بمشاركتكم أهم لحظات احتفالنا بنجاح الموسم الثالث من حصاد البطاطس، بالتعاون مع مؤسسة Care Egypt، في إطار مبادرة “عايشين بخيرها.” اجتمعنا في محافظة بني سويف، بحضور ومشاركة الأستاذ محمد شلباية، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة بيبسيكو مصر وشمال أفريقيا، ويوجين ويليمسين، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة بيبسيكو في أفريقيا والشرق الأوسط وجنوب آسيا، والدكتور حازم فهمي، المدير التنفيذي لمؤسسة Care في مصر، وضيفة شرف الحفل النجمة أروى جودة. والأهم كان تكريم الأشخاص المشاركين والمؤثرين في المبادرة، ووجود المزارعات المصريات بطلات “عايشين بخيرها” وصاحبات الجهد الحقيقي. هدفنا الأول كان وسيظل تمكين المزارعين والنساء في المجتمع المصري، وفخورين بنجاح البرنامج والمبادرة في التأثير على أكثر من ٢٥٠ ألف شخص ومساعدتهم لتحقيق استقلال وتمكين اقتصادي لنفسهم ولأسرهم، أصبحوا خلال رحلتهم أكثر وعيًا بأهمية الزراعة المستدامة. #SheFeedstheWorld #PepsiCo #PepsiCo_Egypt #عايشين_بخيرها
