Barbara Eden Instagram – Last year we celebrated the anniversary of I Dream of Jeannie by revisiting the pilot episode. My dear friend @pattersonlundquist (who helps me with my social media with his company @tangibledreamsentertainment ) and I wanted to do something unique for you, the fans. So he wrote and developed a version of the pilot script in ‘diary’ format. Using elements of the existing script he brought more context, crafted a bit more fun and polished up the already sparkling charm of the original.
The feedback was so lovely and positive last year, that we decided to do it again! This time, Jeannie takes us back to her one year anniversary with Major Nelson. It has been so much fun reading these entries! Just as before, they are a combination of the original script with new material that I feel reveals more of Jeannie’s kind nature beyond the limited time we had in each episode.
You can trust me, if this wasn’t in perfect character, I wouldn’t have recorded it! It really is that much fun! Just like last years, this one has my seal of approval! So I hope you will listen in now!
