Eden Riegel Instagram – About last night! I’m delighted to share pretty photos from the first inaugural #childrensemmys! I was nominated for voice direction on the fabulous, froggy series #Amphibia – which was my first real voice directing gig! I’m so proud to have been a part of this special show, created by @radrappy, who is as kind as he is brilliant. I didn’t take home the trophy, but the experience was the real prize. And the people I got to collaborate with have changed me forever. I didn’t get to make a speech, but if I had I would have said that Matt’s belief in me helped me develop my voice and grow as an artist. He’s an incredible leader and a visionary talent, and I can’t wait to see what he cooks up next!
I was so proud to be recognized in the same category as @dangkristireed. She’s a director from whose work I’ve learned so much. I’m so glad she took home this deserved award – just wish she could have won for both of the shows for which she was nominated. She’s that good!
Also did my best to avoid any of the respiratory illnesses wreaking havoc in our emergency rooms right now. Shameful that NATAS did not require masks or testing. Fingers crossed we don’t have a superspreader on our hands.
