Having completed the ‘Nullarbore’ leg of the trip, I am now in the land of reception, easily accessible water, fields divied up by fences and food shops. To be so isolated is a rare treat. I very quickly lost track of the time, day, and just wrapped the quiet around me like a heavyweighted blanket.
