The Best Father and Nonno a child could ever ask for-
In some ways I am grateful for the pandemic, it slowed the world down, allowing us to shift focus on what’s truly important- because of it I was able to help take care and spend more quality time with him- Memories that break my heart and fill it with joy. Dancing with him to Sade is one of my very favourites.
I was able to lay beside him in his final hours, tell him how much I love him, how grateful I am for all his sacrifices and hold his hand for his final breath.
I hope he could see in my eyes my gratitude for all he’s done for my brother and I. My father lived for his family and especially his children. Sacrificing his own needs and wants to make sure we had ours.
2021 is me saying goodbye to the happiest and the hardest decade of my life.
2010 I was Married
2012 I had my 1st Child, Talia
2013 I lost my Mother
2016 I had my 2nd Child, Michele
2020 I lost my Father.
Dear 2021,
I’m not holding my breath that you will be much different, I expect a lot of mask wearing and not being able to hug.
However- I will walk into 2021 with a different perspective- focusing on my joy and what I have control over.
My Gratitude, my Children, my Husband, my Family and my Career.
I Pray for more Joy, Immense Love, Personal and Professional Success and Good Health.
