Gwendoline Christie Instagram – I urge you to watch @closebylukasdhont directed by @lukasdhont and co-written by @angelotijssens . The film has an irradiant, soulful beauty and some of the most exquisitely free performances I have ever seen, executed by Lukas with real delicacy and restraint.
I think it’s a masterpiece.
I had the pleasure of hosting a Q&A with Lukas and Angelo for @mubiuk ! It’s no surprise that the film is the winner of the Grand Prix Award at Cannes 2022 and is nominated for ‘Best International Feature Film’ at the 2023 Academy Awards.
‘Close’ is released in UK/Irish cinemas on the 3rd March.
