Saffron Burrows Instagram – Today is #internationalhumanrightsday – very proud of my dad Richard Rieser who launched #disabilityhistorymonth in the UK in 2010, with an aim to challenge disabilism, celebrate disabled activists who fought for equality in the past, and look towards progressive change for the future. Each year a different theme is explored – this year is Disability, Health and Well-being. Schools, colleges, councils, prisons, businesses, trade unions and theatres across Britain are all actively engaged with #ukdhm in bringing about change.
