A mentor to me whose humor and wisdom, grace and passion for leveling playing fields has transformed my own way of seeing and being. Thank you to @frances.ryan85 , who so thoughtfully wrote this cover story and in the process, taught me that it is entirely possible to connect within our own disconnected hours. It was a comfort and a privilege to communicate fluidly in unconventional ways. This is an important day for our community.
