To my love, although you didn’t get the result you wanted, you won so many battles before even entering the arena.
🥊 Getting a visa for a corner person who immediately flaked
🥊 Japanese Visa process being so long that you weren’t able to get another corner before the fight
🥊 Two last minute trips to Mexico City to finish our visa process. And one of those trips we had to drive and avoid the cops because of the No Hay Círculo laws 🥴
🥊 Getting your first flight canceled because of COVID documents (good thing you requested to get there much earlier)
🥊 Making 108 for the first time in your career
If you don’t already know the Rizin promotion is truly unique, kinda like WWE meets MMA. It’s an incredible experience. And Jess, you really delivered.
It was my first time in Tokyo, and my first time cornering and it was beyond. Special shout out to @tiagookamura for making this one happen and he and @fightermizuki stepping in last minute to help in your corner 😘After the fight we had one of the best sushi experiences of my life! (Thanks Shu!!)
