I felt sad walking through thinking of how they enjoyed the island while our freedom fighters were locked up in Kaala Pani on Port Blair. You can see that the now abandoned island once had all the luxuries of the world, from tennis courts, swimming pools, to buzzing bazaars, stunning churches, bakeries and even a park for kids. All of which is in ruins now, and is spread through the entire island.
