Forgive the lack of funny pun today, but some recent comments have made it abundantly clear that sooooo many people think that being disabled = not being able to function.  At all. Do anything. If you are disabled you must 100% of the time look like you are in the ICU ➡️ OR ➡️ you aren’t REALLY DISABLED. 🙄 What is the matter with you if you think like this? 😳 Because of my disabilities I am not allowed to drive / I HAVE to use a mobility aid (wheelchair or cane) any time I leave my home / I see a doctor about 10 times per month / 90% of my income goes to pay medical bills / my diet is so restricted I’ve had to invent recipes for foods I love using ingredients I am allowed to eat & EVERY SINGLE DAY I live in pain that would knock an NFL player on their back. Oh, but I don’t ALWAYS post photos in my wheelchair AND I wear makeup. So, naturally…that means I’m not disabled. 🙄 To the people who thought they were being woke and decided to message me or comment that I’m not ALWAYS in my wheelchair…newsflash ➡️ I wear glasses ➡️ most of the time I don’t wear them in photos ➡️ still need them to see ➡️ SIT DOWN AND DO BETTER! ♿ Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. ♿
