Calmatic Instagram – One of my favorite parts of making a movie is working on the score. It’s my opportunity to tap in to my musical side and work with extremely talented musicians. I be feeling like a kid in a candy store, like I’m a rapper working on an album. Last week I got to speak at the Grammy Museum with Oak Felder who provided the score for White Men Can’t Jump and a long time homie, the legendary Terrace Martin. We talked about making the transition from music to film. So many gems dropped and flowers given. S/o to @itsthecq and @grammymuseum for giving us space to share our journeys.
Calmatic Instagram – Wow man, such an honor and privilege to be featured in the Los Angeles Times’ Calendar section. This was my favorite section growing up because of the comics in the back, lol. By now I’m sure you know how I feel about this city and more specifically the people in it. So grateful to showcase everything we’re about to the world.
