Ma’Ma Queen Instagram – To all the beautiful people who were at the counter protest in solidarity with drag artists, and this time specifically the Drag Queens story hour;
Thank you for being visible and strengthening our voice against the resistance weโve received over the last couple of weeks.
As mothers we read inclusive books for children. Books we wished we and our kids had when we were younger. We know what the absence of representation can cause. Thatโs why we try to be and give the representation we never had.
We strongly believe in an inclusive society where diversity is the norm, and everybody is celebrated. To achieve this, we must keep our minds focused on the future we envision. We must remember and learn from the past and fully embrace the present, with compassion and from a place of understanding.
Although weโre not facing the same direction right now, we strongly believe that one day humanity will not be self-destructive nor harm its environment.
Thanks again for being there, keeping our heart warm and our chin up.
