Nirmal Purja Instagram – The @skydivenimsdai team had an amazing day celebrating the 70th anniversary of the first successful Mt Everest summit! We united people from all over the world for this incredible opportunity bringing in more tourism to #Nepal and showing them our beautiful country We flew the Nepal flag in honour of this despite facing multiple challenges. It took us 2 months to get the required permits and permissions from CAAN, The home ministry, The government of nepal forest and environment department of National park and wild life conservation & CDO of Solukhumbu approval! Of course this is very time consuming for me and my team, we have been knocking on countless doors to make this happen and If Nepal wants more tourism in the country I hope the government will make this a much simpler process! Nepal is facing an economic crisis and has currently been ranked as one of the poorest country’s in the world, increasing tourism will bring more income into the country. Being a global tourism ambassador of the country I request the government to come with up with a much more simpler process for the greater benefit Nepal and it’s people.
