Phil Dunster @phildunster says that one of the greatest things about his hit series Ted Lasso is its depiction of protagonists that are striving to be better versions of themselves. “It’s a show where characters are given the opportunity to be kind,” he explains. “And whilst they don’t choose it every time, I think it’s an oddly novel thing to see on screen.” In our digital cover story, we caught up with Phil to chat about the joys of playing his character Jamie, his love for football (he’s a Wimbledon supporter for life) and a top moment from his recent visit to The White House.
