Rouzbeh Rashidi Instagram – We had a fantastic time screening the programme @experimentalfilmsociety curated in collaboration with @feminista.berlin to a full sold-out house. Indeed an astonishing series of short films, and I am honoured to have had the opportunity to present these films in Berlin. The programme focused on five films by five Iranian women* living in exile, and we dissected the process of each film afterwards in an intimate question-and-answer session. Thanks a million to all the wonderful audience who attended and supported our cause. Special thanks to Maryam Katan, Nazgol Kashani, Yasaman Pishvaei, Atoosa Pour Hosseini and Anahita Safarnejad for their superb films.

My personal gratitude goes to Anahita for her extraordinary energy, kindness and marvellous creativity. She’s a dear friend, and I look forward to our future collaborations. Onwards!

Special thanks to Kerstin Cmelka (@kerstin.cmelka) and Mario Mentrup (@mariomentrup), who presented the ‘Krampa – Expanded Cinema Version’ to the audience. Also, thanks to anyone who participated in a very intimate and extended question and answer session, I felt we could go on forever.

Finally, our gratitude goes to the incredible team at the #wolfkinogang for hosting and facilitating us. Engagement with the audience to this level always makes everything worthwhile, which I have seen and sensed from our recent events in Berlin, so I thank you all again for attending.
