Aarthi Subash Instagram – Wedding season is here and I definitely had to go for some saree shopping, so of course, I chose Chennai’s favourite Kancheepuram Varamahalakshmi Silks! I went to their new store, which recently got inaugurated in Pondy Bazaar, T. Nagar, and picked 3 beautiful and authentic Kanjivaram sarees. The first saree I picked is a tomato red-shaded Kanjivaram saree with big floral motifs on the whole body and a grey-shaded border with floral and leaves motifs. The second drape I chose is a burgundy and light blue-shaded saree, with big floral motifs on the burgundy body and a light blue Kanjivaram border. Lastly, I picked a plain dark red-coloured Kanjivaram saree which I paired it with a red checkered blouse. I’m in love with all the 3 drapes and the way they bring out the traditional side of mine!
