Spring seeds and starts are in! Went for more set it and forget it veg this spring (onions, carrots, potatoes, sun chokes, broccoli, etc) since I’ll be gone most of the summer and won’t be around to do continuous harvests and upkeep BUT I couldn’t resist SOME peppers and tomatoes and all the fun summer crops.
A few friends and I started a gratitude accountability group.
This month begins year five. On Mondays we text that we took a moment to write ten things we’re grateful for. Sometimes it’s so easy! Other times it feels like your hand weighs 1000lbs and you forgot how to write. Sometimes it’s big things you write and sometimes it’s something so small that just stuck with you. Just wanted to make an appreciation post for those women for holding me accountable all these years. Gratitude truly makes life so much sweeter.

First time making conchas! Mexican buns that are just a touch sweet. They’re supposed to have a shell pattern on the sugar topping… yea well that definitely didn’t translate on my batch but they’re pretty tasty and fairly straightforward to make. 10/10
