Allison Tolman Instagram – I had my first MRI this week (possible PCOS stuff, I’m okay.) I was SO NERVOUS going in but it went great, so I wanted to post about it in case anyone else is scared.

I’m not really claustrophobic but I get super anxious if I’m not allowed to move around or if I feel like I’ll inconvenience others if I do. (Planes and premieres are hard. Aisle seats are a game changer.)

Anyway. I took a half a Xanax beforehand. My tech Ann was super kind and it is a tight squeeze in there but it sort of feels like a hug, which I liked. You have a little bulb you can squeeze if you freak out. It’s super noisy and they don’t tell you that there are a bunch of different kinds of noises throughout. Also a robot voice might tell you to breathe in and hold it so don’t be surprised. I had to have an injection for my imaging but not everyone does. I was in there for about 45 mins. I took this photo afterwards in the bathroom to send to a friend as proof of life.

Getting this test done has been on my list of things to do for a long time, but I put it off because I was stressed about it. I’m glad I finally did it and will have more information to give my doctors soon. Don’t be scared of the MRI if you need it– schedule it and go for it. You can always squeeze the little bulb if you have to. ❤️

Allison Tolman Instagram – A few weeks ago I whisked some of my best humans off to the mountains to enjoy a couple nights in a magic little cabin I won at a charity auction. We ate, drank, laughed, and did some witchy shit. It was rejuvenating. The pictures don’t do the weekend justice, but here they are anyway.
