Caption : So here I go… Journaling our Singapore trip with some posts and reels about our experiences and learnings ! This was our 2nd International Trip with Mehr and both were in Corona times! And this trip was a game changer for Karan,Mehr and Me at so many levels. Singapore Trip With A Toddler ! Some learnings – ➡️ Tickets to Singapore aren’t as crazy as Flight tickets to london as of now. ➡️Singapore Visas take 5 working days. ➡️Only fully vaccinated adults can travel to Singapore. ➡️Toddlers and Adults both need an RTPCR test done max 48hrs prior to flying. ➡️You need to fill an online declaration form a day prior to ur travel ➡️Reach the airport lil before time so that d child absorbs and learns new things.Such as d entire process of checking in ur bags,Security checks,Trolleys etc etc there was so much to observe there. If you are pressed against time and rush your toddler thru everything then the whole purpose of the travel experience gets lost somewhere. We also kept sometime on hand for the lounge. Wanted Mehr to enjoy the view and have some snacks at the lounge. ➡️ Keep all the documents properly pinned together per person in the following order- -Passports & Tickets -Visa -Vaccination crrtificate & RTPCR -Online declaration forms(To be filled a day prior) ➡️Keep some fav snacks handy to avoid unexpected meltdowns during security check and immigration. ➡️It can rain with thunders anytime in Singapore so must check the weather before planning. ➡️It is a tropical country so please expect it to be hot all year round but manageable. ➡️Babies born during corona times arnt Pram/Stroller friendly cos they barely have had any chances to roam around in a pram, But a stroller is a must cos there is so much to see in Singapore. Mehr thankfully observed her cousin sleeping in his stroller just a week before our trip and was fascinated by the idea and thus we kept playing this game in the house for a few days where in Mehr wud sit in the stroller and just keep roaming about in the house. ➡️U are allowed to take the stroller till the doorstep-of the aircraft. Caption : Travelling with a toddler in a long-ish flight ! ✈️ Herez what All i did- ➡️I prepared a busy bag full of some new and some old activities. ➡️The evergreen Magnetic scribble board is a life saver. ➡️Got a new pop up book for the surprise element. ➡️Crayons,Stickers,Stamps and a drawing/colouring book are a must. ➡️We made Some pasta bracelets too. ➡️Her first official screen time happened on this flight! ➡️She got amused with the whole idea of using headphones. However after 15 mins she didnt care much about what was going on on the screen. ➡️I made a small suitcase with extra set of clothes for both Mehr and myself. ➡️Her fav doll and fav blanket to give her company. ➡️The flight was fairly empty so she walked around and explored the entire aircraft. ➡️I made sure i gave her her fav snacks to munch on and sips of water while take off and landing to help ear pressure. ➡️Pre ordered a kids veg meal while booking our tickets. ➡️She feeds herself so it was fairly easy for me on flight. ➡️She got comfy with eating slightly spicy foods on this trip. ➡️Kept her well hydrated thru the flight. ➡️I showed her ‘Happy Feet’ as her 1st film also cos we were about to visit penguins in Singapore so that she cud relate to them better. ➡️She also interacted with a senior couple sitting behind us who were amazed at how much she talks! ➡️Lots of cuddles and Loving too ! ➡️Little nap too Over all both the journeys to and fro were as smooth as butter ❤️ P.S – Plz make sure all the vaccinations of your child are up to date.I got Mehr her Influenza shot a few days before travelling.

Whether it was asking for an Easy exam,Getting awesome grades,A fun holiday,A cute boyfriend,Good projects,Happy future etc etc Or it was about asking for forgiveness for hurting some one or doing some thing wrong in life! But it was never about just going to a temple and saying- THANKU FOR EVERYTHING! I AM GRATEFUL FOR THIS LIFE ! So now, when I take Mehr to a temple or gurudwara… The only words she hears from my mouth are that of being grateful for everything we have ! I want her to know that when we goto a temple we just go there to pay our respects to almighty and thank him for this beautiful life ! And not go there with chadawa to ask for something in return like an EXCHANGE ! This concept needs to change ! Be Good.Do Good.And Thank God ! Simple ! Caption : Childhood is indeed infectious !🤣 With Mehr in our lives now, Every festival,I get transported back to my childhood ! Every small memory comes back so strongly ! And suddenly I have 5 extra pairs of hands attached to my body,More brain cells,More multi tasking energy and 50 more hours in day to make sure Im able to create some new and some old rituals for Mehr to follow ! Apart from – Deeya Painting Paper Lantern Rangoli The usuals from my childhood Diwali memories… This year we have added a special ritual- 🌺The Bhog Ke Laddoo and Phool Mala for Laxmi Ji and Ganesh Ji were made by Mehr🌺 And when we finished The Dhanteras Pooja in Office, Mehr distributed the Laddoos to everyone and everyone gobbled them up with a Big Smile and blessed her by touching her head , I just kept looking at the Satisfaction and Happiness on her face… She felt that her involvement in the festival in her own small ways is spreading joy in so many peoples lives ! And for this very feeling…. I am grateful to God 😇 #happydiwali #rabbdimehr

Caption : Dunno why I totally forgot to post this! 😆🤣 When we were vacationing in Sentosa Islands in April, We went to Vivo City Mall for some shopping! Karan and Mehr both Looooooove shopping! Malls are indeed their happy place! But, Dunno what happened that day, Within 20 mins Mehr was done looking around in shops and started walking very confidently in a particular direction, I follower her lead cos I didn’t wanna force her to shop with us,I wanted her to explore, She asked me to go up the escalator with her and there it was…. This beautiful library looking at us right in the face with open arms!😍 So Mehr and I spent sometime at this library while Dadda finished his shopping and joined us later ! What a wholesome feeling this was ! Must visit if ur in Sentosa Islands ! Vivo City Mall Sentosa

Caption : Mumbai Zoo Byculla Was So Surprisingly World Class👍🏻 Mehr’s school arranged this field trip and it was such a pleasure to witness all the excitement in these toddlers ! 🌸The Zoo opens at 930am and we reached at 945 which was perfect since the crowd hadnt started coming in yet. Only kids from school majorly come at that time. 🌸We spent a good 3.5hrs including a relaxed lunch at the cafe ! 🌸Kids below 3 have free entry.For adults it was Rs 50/- only 🌸The washrooms were clean,Spacious and well maintained.There was also a child care room. 🌸There is a nice walk through cafe as well as a dine in cafe with multiple choices and good food decently priced. 🌸The Animal enclosures are also big and well maintained. 🌸The Tiger here is a proper showman ! He entertained the kids with his antics ! And so is this one penguin who was the showstopper and just cudnt stop flaunting his swimming chops ! 🌸We saw Deers,Turtles,Sloth Bear,Elephant,Tiger,Monkeys,Penguins,A variety of birds 🌸If u are interested in Botany then this place is also impressive botanical garden spread in an area of about 50 acres, I remember visiting this place as a Botany student in my Second year of Bsc. 🌸There is an aquatic birds aviary too. We saw Pelicans, flamingos, albino crows,Cranes, herons and storks in this aviary. 🌸There is a nice park near the exit for kids with nice and clean swings,slides,tunnels etc etc 🌸It is clean and spacious and thus I was happy seeing Mehr just soaking up the sun and exploring the space at her own pace and will ! P.S Dont miss Mehr wagging her pretend tail like The elephant she saw here and Walking like a penguin in the video 😜

Caption : The Perfect Waffle Recipe 🧇 So Waffles were an instant hit breakfast option with Mehr, But I was constantly thinking of how to make it even healthier! So here is a breakdown of a guilt free waffle breakfast option – 🌸Take in equal quantities – ➡️Slurrp Farm Millet Pancake & Waffle Mix – Classic & Supergrains ➡️Slurrp Farm Almond Date Powder 🌸Add Chia Seeds powder and Flax seeds powder as per liking 🌸Mix 1 teaspoon of butter 🌸Add milk to adjust a slightly thick consistency 🌸Pour 2 tablespoons batter onto the plates of the waffle maker. ➡️I bought mine from Amazon – BONIRY Mini Waffle Maker 4 Inch- 350 Watts 🌸Pour some Maple Syrup too if u like 🌸For Yogurt on the side I dont drain the curd to keep the whey intact. 🌸Mix fresh strawberries/Blueberries or Dried berries ➡️I keep Rostaa Berrylicious (Mixed Dried Berries) handy for snacking too! P.S – Make Extraaaa for ur breakfast as well ! And dont forget to make ur toddler a part of the process. Whipping Mixing Pounding Pouring…. The Work! ENJOY ❤️ #rabbdimehr
