Here’s to the brilliant artisans who have ploughed their fields to locate and create incredible, earth-friendly alternatives! Hair- @liztaw (glorious human! Eco real deal! Superwoman du monde!! 🌳⚡️👊) used her homemade zero waste flax gel, and finished with @randcobleu Optical Illusion smoothing oil and Lifestyler volume and texture spray. Swipe right for the most cringe slo-mo of my liiiife- but with proof that the hair functions normally and not like crunchy mi goreng 👌👌👌 Makeup- beauteous @francescabrazzo used @ereperezcosmetics on skin and cheeks, @rmsbeauty on my eyes and @officialmanasi7 on my lips 💚 Styling- by the sublime @lucywarrenstyle ! Styling fairy and soul soother 💗✨ Dress- (which can be worn 3 ways!) by beauteous @peoplesofallnations who are making steps by working with a family-run, artisanal factory and preventing waste with their “handmade” approach in pattern cutting, reinterpreting stock, as well as creatively reworking leftover fabrics from the industry. ❤️‍🔥 Shoes- by my DREAM @rey_rey_official . It is SO hard to find truly sustainable shoes so I always end up using vintage. But these folks are legit… ONLY using animal skin that is the bi-product of the food industry, vegetable tanning processes using 💯 carbon free energy production, upcycled fabrics, creatively reusing “waste”, recycled paper shoe boxes, ethically made, woman-owned.
